Manual Release Steel Self-Dumping Hoppers for Forklift Scrap Handling

Manual release D-style self-dumping hoppers provide a dependable forklift-handled solution for collecting, transporting, and dumping scrap, waste, bulk materials, chips, and debris. Designed for warehouses, manufacturing plants, fabrication shops, construction sites, recycling areas, and maintenance departments, these no bump and dump hoppers allow controlled discharge without relying on bumper-triggered dumping.

Forklift-Controlled Dumping

A pull chain release allows the forklift operator to dump the hopper from the truck seat, helping personnel stay clear of the discharge area. Smooth interior surfaces and contoured edges promote better material flow for cleaner unloading, while fork pockets provide a stable lifting foundation during transport and dumping.

Light, Medium, and Heavy Duty Designs

This family includes light duty 12 gauge, medium duty 10 gauge, and heavy duty 8 gauge steel models to match different load requirements. Capacities range from 2,000 lb. to 6,000 lb., with hopper volumes from 1/4 cubic yard to 5 cubic yards depending on duty class and model size.

Options, Colors, and Application Flexibility

Available options include caster kits, lids, fork retaining pins, leak proof welded seams, drain plugs, lifting lugs, side tilt, and steel mesh side extensions for select models. Multiple color finishes are available to support facility organization, department identification, and safety programs. Each hopper includes a safety restraint for securing the unit to the fork truck during use. Must be attached to fork truck when dumping.
