Pour-In-Place Steel Safety Handrails for Concrete Guardrail Installation

VDKR-PP-6_1.jpgPour-in-place steel safety handrails provide permanent edge protection for elevated walkways, mezzanines, platforms, loading areas, and other drop-off locations. Designed for direct installation into concrete, these guardrail sections help protect personnel in industrial, commercial, warehouse, and facility maintenance environments where a surface-mounted rail is not the preferred solution.

Concrete-Embedded Guardrail Design

The pour-in-place design includes extended leg length for setting the rail directly into concrete. A 6 inch mounting depth is recommended, giving installers a secure embedded connection without surface mounting plates. This makes the handrail well suited for new construction, concrete pours, and permanent facility safety upgrades.

Durable Schedule 10 Steel Construction

Constructed from schedule 10 steel, each handrail includes both top rail and mid rail protection. The 1-5/8 inch diameter rail provides a strong grip surface, while the durable yellow powder-coated finish improves visibility and adds long-lasting protection in demanding work areas.

Lengths and Safety Compliance

This family includes overall lengths from 26-1/2 inches to 122-1/4 inches, allowing facilities to select rail sections for different walkway, platform, and mezzanine layouts. The VDKR series safety rail products are designed to comply with OSHA General Industry guardrail requirements in 29 CFR 1910.29 and ANSI standards, to help specify reliable fall protection for elevated work areas.
