Open Side Self-Dumping Hoppers for Oversized Material HandlingOpen side self-dumping hoppers provide a practical forklift-handled solution for collecting, moving, and unloading oversized materials, scrap, bulky parts, and loose debris. Designed for manufacturing plants, warehouses, fabrication shops, maintenance areas, construction sites, and material handling operations, these hoppers make it easier to load and discharge items that may not fit well in fully enclosed hopper designs. Open Side Loading and UnloadingThe open side design allows long or awkward materials to be loaded and unloaded with less obstruction. This helps reduce manual handling, improves access around the hopper, and supports smoother material flow during discharge. Automatic and Manual DumpingThe bumper release system automatically dumps the hopper when it contacts the front of a dumpster or discharge point. A manual pull cable is also included, allowing the forklift operator to dump the hopper from the seat when needed. After dumping, the hopper returns to an upright and locked position. Steel Construction and CapacitiesThis family includes 1 cubic yard and 2 cubic yard models, each with 2,000 lb. capacity. Steel construction provides strength and stability for daily industrial use, while the blue powder-coated finish adds durability. Built-in fork pockets support forklift handling for efficient transport, positioning, and dumping. |
