Forklift Tilt Hoppers with Open Side Loading for Long Materials

H-FBOD-4896-2_E.jpgFlat open side hoppers provide a practical forklift-handled solution for loading, transporting, and unloading long, flat, or awkward materials. Designed for manufacturing plants, maintenance departments, warehouses, fabrication shops, assembly areas, and material staging zones, these open side tilt hoppers allow access from three sides to make loading and unloading more efficient.

Three-Sided Loading Access

The open side design helps users place materials onto the hopper from multiple directions, making it useful for parts, panels, scrap, fixtures, cutoffs, and other materials that may be difficult to load into a standard enclosed hopper. This layout supports better workflow around workstations and production areas.

Forklift Tilt and Dump Operation

Built-in fork pockets allow the hopper to be lifted and positioned by fork truck. Once in place, a pull cable activates the tilt function for controlled unloading, helping reduce manual unloading labor and improve productivity during repeated material handling tasks.

Deck Options and Construction

This family includes open frame and solid plate deck models, each with 2,000 lb. capacity and a durable blue powder-coated finish. Steel construction provides long-term strength for industrial use, while the wide platform design supports efficient handling of oversized materials, flat goods, and bulk workplace cleanup loads.
